Therapy for Adults
You've been managing for a long time. Maybe well enough that no one around you even knows how much you're carrying. But something brought you here, and that's worth paying attention to.
A space to finally set it down.
A lot of adults come to therapy having never done it before, or having done it before without it really working. Either way, the question underneath is usually the same: is this actually going to help?
Here’s what I can tell you - therapy with me is not about being fixed or overhauled. It's not about performing insight or arriving at the right answers on someone else's timeline. It's about having a space where you can be honest about what's actually going on, with someone who isn't going to flinch, get overwhelmed, or tell you to think more positively.
A lot of my adult clients have been living with the effects of past experiences for years without fully realizing it. Old memories that surface at the wrong moments. Patterns in relationships they can't seem to break. A persistent sense that something is off, even when life looks fine from the outside. That's often where the work begins. I draw on EMDR to help clients process the experiences that are still driving things in the present, and DBT when someone needs concrete tools for managing emotions, communication, and the harder moments of daily life.
Therapy moves at your pace. There's no pressure to go somewhere before you're ready, and no finish line you're expected to cross by a certain date.

Therapeutic Approach
Patient, direct, and built around you.
You don't need to be told what to feel or where they should be in your healing. What most people need is someone who takes them seriously, stays curious about their experience, and brings real clinical skill to the work without making the room feel clinical.
I am intensively trained in DBT and fully trained in EMDR, and work with adults navigating everything from longstanding trauma to the quieter suffering of feeling stuck, disconnected, or lost. I am direct without being prescriptive, warm without being soft on the work, and genuinely invested in each person I sit with.
Bloomwell Counseling Co. is an LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity inclusive practice. I am enthusiastic about working with adults across a wide range of identities and lived experiences, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, adults with ADHD and other neurodivergent profiles, and individuals navigating life outside of mainstream relationship structures. Every client deserves a therapist who sees the full context of who they are.
You don't have to keep carrying this alone.
If you've been thinking about therapy for a while, that's worth listening to.
Bloomwell Counseling Co. is accepting new clients for in-person sessions in Roswell, GA and virtual therapy throughout Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.
